Surround Yourself with Positive Thoughts, Feelings & Emotions

Master Your Mind ~ Master Your Life

Whether you realize it or not, you are responsible for how you experience your life.  From the thoughts you think and the choices you make.

If you never realize “you and only you” are responsible for how you feel…….You will usually let other peoples problems and issues affect you!  You take things personally, when it has nothing to do with you at all.  You allow your emotions to spiral down into a dark place, ruminating about it, feeling worse and sorry for yourself.  Your anger begins to boil and it starts to impact your health, your immune system, work, energy, happiness and relationships.  All because you believed it was about you and took it personally, choosing to be offended, taking in other peoples bad behaviors and impacting your well being.

This behavior can become a bad habit!  Why let other peoples problems become yours, even if it is a spouse, family member, friend, boss or co-worker?  Why go there in the first place?  You can learn to not go there, becoming an observer, staying calm and choosing not to personalize or become offended by what other people say or do.  Empower yourself to have positive self worth and confidence!  Choose to be a victor and become a healthy thinker!

Are You Attracting What You Want?

Here is a mind exercise to help you attract what you want.  Law of Attraction Exercise:

Get comfortable and close your eyes.  Breathe deeply a few times, in through your nose and out through your mouth.  Use your subconscious mind to create what you want.  Your brain is your computer hard drive and you are the programmer.  Visualize seeing yourself doing or being exactly what you want.  See it.  Feel it.  Believe it.  Visualize, think and dream of what you want everyday, throughout the day.  Visualize yourself already being where you want to be and feel it with great passion and enthusiasm.  Spend a few minutes each day with the Law of Attraction exercise and pay attention as you begin to attract those very things into your life.  It helps you forecast the coming events in your life, that open up the opportunities and choices you make each day.

Calmness for 2017

Whether you realized it or not being relaxed or tense is a habit we acquire.  If you’re not relaxed your tense.  If you frequently see yourself fidgeting, holding your neck, or your shoulders are up, you’re definitely not relaxed.

So what is the big deal about being relaxed or tense?  Well, relaxation has so many health benefits and to mention just a few of the most important ones;  lower blood pressure, less harmful hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol, less headaches, better memory, less negative thinking.  Being tense makes aches more painful, making unhealthy choices, insomnia and low moods.

If you have any of the symptoms of being tense most of the time, you would benefit from training your body how to relax.  And yes you can!  How you may ask?  Well, by practicing every day.  (Just like anything you want to be successful at, practice is the key)  Practicing deep breathing, quiet moments of going within, meditating is an excellent way to quiet your mind and body.  And yes, hypnosis is a wonderful tool to help you relax.  It is that state of consciousness right before sleep.

That being said about how important it is to learn how to be relaxed, it is also the first step in allowing yourself to be calm.  My definition of a person being calm is the absence of negative emotions.  Letting our thoughts turn negative causes negative emotions.  Because your subconscious mind, where you hold your habits and memories, does not know what is real or imagined.  So you can have a fear, worry or negative thought and then your subconscious mind creates a negative emotion and that negative emotion releases the hormones: adrenaline (anxiety) and cortisol (stress) .  Then you get yourself all worked up and emotional, which can have negative side effects.

So being relaxed and calm is a conscious choice you can create with a conscious effort and practice.  By knowing and understanding how the mind works and taking responsibility for what you are thinking and creating, you can have a more peaceful, calmer life.  When you are in control of your emotions and choices, you build positive self worth.  So many benefits!!!
